welcome to tef1 NORCAL 2025!
Join us on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 for TEF1 NorCal 2025 as we journey back to the west coast and head to Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA. The Sonoma pro karting track is ready to go with 0.7 mile per lap, PEV racers across all racing categories will compete cash prizes! All categories must meet a minimum requirement of registered racers. If your category fails to meet the minimum required number of riders, that category will be removed from the event and all registered racers for that category will be refunded within seven business days.

Registration for this event will open on Friday, August 1st, 2025 at 12:00 PM PST and registration will close on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025 at 9 PM PT. TEF1 PRE-SHOW ESK8 SPEC CATEGORY

We've added a ESK8 Spec category to TEF1 NorCal. TEF1 in partnership with Stooge Raceboards, MAD ESK8, and Riptide Sports, have added a new pre-show racing category for TEF1 NorCal 2025.

REGISTRATION PRICE: $80.00 USD

We are excited to announce the ESK8 (e-skate) Spec category. A morning pre-show event that will have three back-to-back heats to kick off the day!
​
Only 20 spots are available for this racing category, BOARDS WILL BE PROVIDED by Stooge Raceboards (that's right, we will provide the boards for this category), and registered racers will all receive a TEF1 NorCal jersey!

Please note: Purchases through our payment system are converted to Canadian dollars, so the price you will see on your ticket will be in CAD, not in USD. As a result the price reflected may seem higher than you will actually be charged.

FREE tickets are also available for Spectators to come watch the races and enjoy the event. Be sure to tell your friends and family to come cheer you on as you race.

Our race registration fee is $180.00 USD ($249.50 CAD), which will cover everything for the event. Ticket prices will show in Canadian dollars ($249.50 CAD).

Each registrant will receive a TEF1 swag bag which will include a personalized TEF1 NorCal 2025 jersey (jersey number and last name on the back), a raffle ticket towards our raffle prize(s), and other swag provided by our team, sponsors, or partners.

racer's combo food voucher
Each registrant will receive a food voucher for a 'Racer's Combo' at our food truck partner for the event. We like to keep our racers fueled up for the event day!
race format & schedule
We will be adding the race structure to this page in the coming weeks. There will be open practice rounds in the morning, followed by qualifying rounds for positioning and groupings, then a heat format for the races. There will likely be a one hour break in the afternoon as well. Below is our PEV racing structure from past TEF1 racing events.
7:30 am - 8:30 am: Racers Check-in
9 am - 10 am: Practice Laps (10 mins per category)
10 am - 11 am: Qualifying Rounds (Will determine your placement for the first heat)
12 pm - 1 pm: 1 hour break
1 pm - 2 pm: 1st Heat
2 pm - 3 pm: Quarter Final Heats
3 pm - 4 pm: Semi-Final Heats
4 pm - 5 pm: InMotion Future Legends Intermission Race & Finals (Top 10 racers)
5 pm - 6 pm: Podium Celebration, Prizes, Wrap-up

ESK8 Spec Category time placement will be determined after registration closes on September 30th.

*Please note: This schedule is a general guideline for the day. The schedule for the event may be subject to change at any time. A full schedule will be provided to racers in the TEF1 Racers Document, which will be sent out to every registered racer.

DATE: TBD - TEF1 will be hosting our group ride for NorCal 2025 in San Francisco, along side the local PEV community and BAESK8 group. There will be over $1000.00 in prizes and the group ride is free to attend for everyone in the PEV community. It's our way of thanking the community for their support and to bring us all together for a fun time!

NEED TO SHIP YOUR PEV TO THE EVENT?
Coming from out of town? Can't get your PEV on your flight? Alien Rides will be happy to facilitate that for you! Please note, the cost of shipping will be the responsibility of the racer. Read below and click the link to purchase this added service by Alien Rides.

LOGISTICS PARTNER - ALIEN RIDES

Alien Rides will handle receiving and shipping of your PEV from San Francisco. Pick up and drop-off of your PEV should be at our warehouse in San Francisco. Pick-up must be before 4PM on the Friday before the event.
Please enter your address as the shipping address. In the order notes please provide the box dimensions and weight. We will email you a shipping label within 48 hours of ordering. You will need to take your vehicle to a UPS store for drop-off.
If you are providing your own labels, you do not need to use this service, you can simply ship your vehicle to our warehouse and we will process your box, free of charge.

FREE ON-SITE CAMPING
Sonoma Raceways has provided us with FREE on-site camping for FRIDAY EVENING (THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EVENT DAY) OCTOBER 17TH. Those of you that are looking to budget tent or RV camping can do so in the Paddock area as offered by Sonoma Raceway. Any information regarding camping on-site should be directed to Sonoma Raceways.

Don't want to race? Feel like coming to the event to cheer on the racers? Then get your FREE spectator tickets to TEF1 Atlantic! Each order is limited to 4 tickets. If your party is over 4 people, please place multiple orders to accommodate. Please note: spectators do not receive a jersey, swag bag, or raffle ticket. Those items are exclusively for racers.
