welcome to tef1 NORCAL 2025!
Join us on Saturday, October 18th, 2025 for TEF1 NorCal 2025 as we journey back to the west coast and head to Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, CA. The Sonoma pro karting track is ready to go with 0.7 mile per lap, PEV racers across all racing categories will compete cash prizes! All categories must meet a minimum requirement of registered racers. If your category fails to meet the minimum required number of riders, that category will be removed from the event and all registered racers for that category will be refunded within seven business days.

Registration for this event will open on Friday, August 1st, 2025 at 12:00 PM PST and registration will close on Friday, October 3rd, 2025. For more information about the event, categories, registration details, venue, and accommodations, please read below! We hope to see you all there.

Tickets are limited for each category, once the tickets are sold out, they're gone. Be sure to get yours as soon as possible to make sure you don't miss out on this PEV racing event.

FREE tickets are also available for Spectators to come watch the races and enjoy the event. Be sure to tell your friends and family to come cheer you on as you race.

Our race registration fee is $180.00 USD ($249.50 CAD), which will cover everything for the event. Ticket prices will show in Canadian dollars ($249.50 CAD).

swag bag - $50.00 value
Each registrant will receive a TEF1 swag bag which will include a personalized TEF1 NorCal 2025 jersey (jersey number and last name on the back), a raffle ticket towards our raffle prize(s), and other swag provided by our team, sponsors, or partners.

racer's combo food voucher
Each registrant will receive a food voucher for a 'Racer's Combo' at our food truck partner for the event. We like to keep our racers fueled up for the event day!
race format & schedule
We will be adding the race structure to this page in the coming weeks. There will be open practice rounds in the morning, followed by qualifying rounds for positioning and groupings, then a heat format for the races. There will likely be a one hour break in the afternoon as well. Below is our PEV racing structure from past TEF1 racing events.
8 am - 9am: Racers Check-in
9 am - 10 am: Practice Laps (10 mins per category)
10 am - 11 am: Qualifying Rounds (Will determine your placement for the first heat)
12 pm - 1 pm: 1 hour break
1 pm - 2 pm: 1st Heat - LIVESTREAM BEGINS
2 pm - 3 pm: Quarter Final Heats
3 pm - 4 pm: Semi-Final Heats
4 pm - 5 pm: Finals (Top 10 racers)
5 pm - 6 pm: Podium Celebration, Prizes, Wrap-up

*Please note: This schedule is a general guideline for the day. The schedule for the event may be subject to change at any time. A full schedule will be provided to racers in the TEF1 Racers Document, which will be sent out to every registered racer.
group ride
SAN FRANCISCO

DATE: TBD - TEF1 will be hosting our group ride for NorCal 2025 in San Francisco, along side the local PEV community and BAESK8 group. There will be over $1000.00 in prizes and the group ride is free to attend for everyone in the PEV community. It's our way of thanking the community for their support and to bring us all together for a fun time!

Where can I ship my pev?
Coming from out of town? Can't get your PEV on your flight? We will be providing any logistics partnerships here. We are currently looking for a local partner to provide a shipping HQ for racers from afar to ship their PEVs to. Please note, the shipping will be the responsibility of the racer, but we will try to facilitate an option for you all.

FREE ON-SITE CAMPING
Sonoma Raceways has provided us with FREE on-site camping for FRIDAY EVENING (THE NIGHT BEFORE THE EVENT DAY) OCTOBER 17TH. Those of you that are looking to budget tent or RV camping can do so in the Paddock area as offered by Sonoma Raceway. Any information regarding camping on-site should be directed to Sonoma Raceways.

Don't want to race? Feel like coming to the event to cheer on the racers? Then get your FREE spectator tickets to TEF1 Atlantic! Each order is limited to 4 tickets. If your party is over 4 people, please place multiple orders to accommodate. Please note: spectators do not receive a jersey, swag bag, or raffle ticket. Those items are exclusively for racers.
